Composition

Copolyamides are second to none when it comes to bonding textiles, that is, textile interlinings.

Of the many polyamide hotmelt adhesives, the most suitable are those which, like VESTAMELT^®, contain laurolactam as an essential monomer. Only these hotmelt adhesives have melting points that allow textiles to be fixed efficiently and damage-free and to withstand washing and dry cleaning admirably.

VESTAMELT^® features the following special properties:

• economic bonding, also to sensitive textiles and surfaces that are difficult to fuse
• high resistance to washing and dry cleaning
• good resistance to strike back
• steam resistance
• solvent resistance
