Stabilizers

Heat Stabilizers

Heat Stabilizers are additives used for improving the resistance of a polymer to heat-induced changes in its properties.

AEROXIDE® TiO2 P25 is a titanium dioxide without pigment properties. Thanks to its purity and fine particle size, it may be used as heat stabilizer for silicone and polyurethane elastomers.

UV-Stabilizers
UV stability

The primary function of UV stabilizers is to protect the adhesives & sealant systems from the long-term degradation effects caused by ultra-violet light.

Carbon blacks with a primary particle size near 20 nanometers are especially recommended for UV protection applications. PRINTEX® 60 with a primary particle size of 21 nanometer is well suited as an UV-stabilizer for adhesives & sealants.
