Renewable Energies (e.g. solar, photovoltaic and wind energy applications) will be a very important growth factor for adhesives & sealants in the next two decades. The need for improved productivity will drive the development of high quality materials and additives. And this is where special additives made by Evonik Industries, such as curing agents like IPD or AEROSIL® Fumed Silicas and Dynasylan® Silanes to improve handling and better mechanical properties, or to just increase bonding properties, come into play.
